Description

We weave our 300 thread count Percale sheets by laying one warp thread over one weft thread in a one to one ratio. This produces a sheet with a matte finish that is soft yet durable, crisp and cool to the touch. We added a thin embroidered stripe to the border for a hint of style. These sheets are one of the best bedding investments you can make.

Pairs with Single Stripe Embroidered Duvet Set

Single Stripe Embroidered Percale Sheet Set

I have bought these sheets for the twin beds in my guest bedroom for the past five years and have been extremely pleased with them. I have not only been pleased with the sheets and the matching duvet but with the quick delivery and store service. Laytner’s Linen is my go to store for all my linens.

Love these cool crisp cotton percale sheets

I enjoy using these sheets, which I’ve bought in several stripe (the decorative band on top sheet and pillowcase) colors on white. I’ve been searching literally for years for an affordable sheet akin to the ones I grew up with and until 15 years ago could find in places like Bloomingdale’s. These are cool, smooth, and crisp, striking a balance between too soft (like sateen or Egyptian cotton, which I find cloying and too warm) and too stiff (like roughly finished, coarse ones). Two complaints, though: The fitted sheet is like an XXL shirt on a petite frame. It is so loose it moves around while I sleep, causing wrinkles to form under me as I sleep, rather uncomfortable. Secondly, the Upper West Side store isn’t stocking them in all available colors in the Twin size, so I had to order from the website. But I still love them. Hopefully Laytner’s will make the elastic on the fitted sheet fit tighter, and will restock all colors at the UWS store. P.S. I love these sheets so much I traveled to the West Side on four different occasions (one of which was in vain, because they didn’t have the pink color way) to buy extra colors. (I live on the East Side and used to patronize their 86th Street store until it closed in March 2020.)
