Downtowns across America are undergoing massive changes.  Instead of tearing down old warehouses, abandoned department stores and outdated government buildings, architects and designers have leaped into serious urban renewal and renovations to restore downtowns into exciting places to live and work.  The look and feel of this restoration is the inspiration for the functional and uncluttered design of the SoMa Collection.

The SoMa Night Stand features one drawer and shelf for storage or display.  The night stand is treated with clear coat of Fortress Finish.  This makes the surfaces abrasive resistant to coins and keys and heat and stains.  The clear coating will also resist watermarks from water glasses left overnight.

The drawer features dovetail construction where an English dovetail joint connects the drawer front and back to the drawer side.  Joints remain tight and snug even after thousands of pulls.  A wood on wood treated center drawer guide system is used on each drawer for years of quiet, smooth service.
